Option 1   Cash Donation

            Although cash is sometimes perceived as an impersonal gift, monetary donations actually help fund our early start-up expenses.  Each year the Syracuse Pride Committee works in conjunction with the Pride Community Center, which is a 501(c)3 organization.  Your tax deductible cash contribution of twenty-five, fifty, one hundred or other dollar amount can be mailed with the attached form to: The Pride Community Center, PO Box 6608, Syracuse NY 13217.  Checks payable to: the Pride Community Center.

Option 2   Donation of Merchandise or Services

            Many local businesses and organizations helped to fund the 2000 Pride celebration by donating merchandise or gift certificates for services, which we in turn used for fundraising purposes.  We are again accepting merchandise and gift certificates for our Big Pride Prize Raffle.  Contributors will be acknowledged through signage and print media at the festival site.  Gift certificates can be mailed directly, with the attached form, to the Pride Community Center.  Merchandise pick-up can be arranged by calling Bernie McCarthy at (315) 471-0714.  We would ask that all merchandise or gift certificates be received by May 17, 2001.

Option 3   Sponsorship

            Another way you can help to defray the costs associated with the pride event is through sponsorship of one of our “big-ticket” expenses.   In the past, several community organizations and businesses have used this option as a way to support our efforts.  Please consider one of the following expenses to sponsor:
